- Was it harder/easier than you expected? I would say it was just about what I had expected. I had 3 other family members who had just finished it, so I already expected it to be hard.
- What was the hardest part? I would say not eating breakfast. But it did get easier as the days went on
- What kept you going? The results. Knowing that I could fit into my clothes that I hadn't been able to wear for 2 years kept me on track.
- What did you look forward to on the day-to-day? Eating, lol. Mainly the fruit though. Meat made me sick to my stomach.
- What were your favorite meals? Hamburger with grilled onion and a little spicy mustard.
- What advice would you recommend to someone starting out? Expect it to be hard. It is extremely difficult going from (x) amount of calories to only 500. You will be hungry, but drink plenty of water, tea, and/or coffee. It will help fill you up. And drinking hot tea and coffee "fills" you up more.
- What would you do different? Learn more recipes. I got sick of food, because I was only eating a few different meals.
- What set you back? Feeding my 2 year old daughter. Feeding her the normal meals and snacks every day tempted me to cheat a little.
- How did you overcome a setback? I would try to feed her after I ate. But sometimes it was hard. So I would just drink an iced tea with stevia instead. That was my treat to keep me going.
- What was your overall experience? Amazing. I loved the diet, as hard as it can be. I had such amazing results, I will be repeating the diet so that I can reach my ultimate goal.
- Would you do it again? Of course!
- Why do you think some people don't stick it out? They don't have the willpower to keep going. They give in to temptation, honestly.
- How did you stay motivated halfway through? I knew I had only 20 days left. And the number became less and less. And I knew that at the end of my diet, I was going on vacation, so I would be able to enjoy SOME of the food that I had craved.
- Have you ever done any other diets? What have you previously done to lose weight? I tried the Hydroxycut, Slimfast, crash diets. I tried plain exercising and eating lower calories, but I kept falling off the wagon.
- How did the HCG diet compare? I had seen the results from other family members, so I knew that it really worked. I just had to stick to it.
- Overall, how would you best describe your experience? Absolutely amazing. It was everything I had hoped for.
