I followed the instructions and maintained an exercise regimen. I watched my diet, but did not lose any weight. Could I have a bad batch of drops?
We are sorry that you have had a frustrating experience. To answer your question, no, you would not have a bad batch of HCG Amino Plus drops. Each batch is tested for potency and purity. If you followed the diet as prescribed, you should have seen results. Those people with underlying health issues may not achieve the higher weight loss like so many others, but they still are losing significant weight. There must either be an underlying health condition or there is something in your daily routine that is outside the diet protocol. We are happy to discuss anything with you to see if we can identify what is happening, just let us know.

I lost 11 lbs in 21 days and have lost another 4 since starting phase 3. The last week of the 21 days I only lost 1 lb. Is this normal as I really felt like I did load properly but I did question myself on the plan. I stuck faithfully to the 500 cal. but I sometimes mixed the veggies. It says only one. Does that mean you cannot mix lettuce with a tomato?
Mixing the veggies would not have made you plateau during the last week. The most common this sodium intake or spices that have sugar in them or starches in them. Make sure that you are getting enough rest and drink plenty of fluids.

It seems like toward the end of my phase 2 I am just loosing 0.2, 0.3 lb etc, it add up to pound in about 4 days or so, so since the scale is actually moving down, it’s not technically a stall, right? What should I do?

Yes your body is beginning to show signs of resistance. Keep going. Increase your water intake, increase your drops if you like to 15 drops, 3 times a day and see if that does not help. Before beginning another round, you need to give your body at least 4 weeks to rest before beginning drops again. You will need to load again as well. Be sure to follow Phase 3 exactly. Slowly integrate healthy fats and complex carbs. Stay away from starches and sugars until the end.

I read in the book it is common to have a "stall" midway, and then it resolves. How does this relate to the "apple day" - I have had a stall a little this last week and I didn't do the apple thing, because it said that is to be expected. Should I have done an apple day?

The apple day is used when you cannot break the stall after a couple of days.

I was feeling sick and did take Sudafed for three days and Benadryl at night, for cold symptoms, could this have caused a stall in my weight loss?
As far as the cold medication, the liquid medications have a lot of sugar in them. If you stay with what you have take in pill form, you will be just fine. It’s important to get better, you did the right thing.

I’m not losing and if I eat over 800 calories I will gain a pound. The most that I go up is 2 pounds and then it won’t budge until I get to the 500-600 calorie range with perfection in the diet. I just thought I would lose more slowly at the higher calorie diet. Is eating any fats unsafe? I think I’ll take a break from this and just do the 21 days, then the maintenance before starting again, is that okay?
Anytime you eat fats or sugars you are interrupting the signal from brain to your liver that tells it to burn ketones (fat). It will usually take you 2-3 days to recover and begin losing weight again. It sounds like you may have a slower metabolism. Although you are hungry, it sounds like your sweet spot is the 500-600 range. The book would certainly help to better understand the diet and nutrition. It may be best to go into phase three right now, stabilize and then go back on again after phase 3. Load again when you begin next round.

I’ve been on the diet for 34 days now but for the last week I’ve been at a standstill, just maintaining. I did the apple day and still nothing. What can I do to start losing more weight?
Each person's body reacts a little differently to hcg. If you have stalled for this much time and you are 34 days into the diet, we would recommend stopping the drops and heading into phase 3. Allow yourself time to stabilize and then begin again. Your body is trying to hang on to everything and needs time to adjust. By waiting and beginning again in 4 weeks, you will find much greater results without the frustration.

I've been reading up on HCG because my weight loss has slowed down significantly and I learned something that may have ruined my HCG drops. I have been keeping them in my legal bag wherever I go and I went to several courts in the last 10 days and every time my bag went through an x-ray machine. Every website I visited I have research says the x-ray machines will render the drops useless. Is this true?
Yes, exposure to x-rays or strong magnetic fields will degrade the effectiveness of the drops.

In my first 2 weeks I lost 15 lbs, in my 3rd week I was on my menstruation cycle and I didn’t lose any pounds, for my 4th week I am still the same weight; in my 5th week I ate everything, this is my 6th week and I want to know if I am going to lose weight, I have 4 lbs more to shed, can I do it?
If you have hit a plateau that you cannot seem to break through, you can try a couple of things. Increase your drops to 15 drops 3 times a day, increase your water that you drink, check you spices and seasonings to make sure that you are not accidentally ingesting to much sodium or that they have sugars or starches in them. Make sure that you are getting sufficient rest at night. You can continue on the drops, but the closer you get to your optimum weight, the more stubborn those pounds will be to lose.

I am on day 18 in P2 and I cannot break the plateau, the only way is with apple days, but I can’t eat apples forever! I have not changed anything at all, what should I do?
Increase your water intake. Increase your drops to 15 drops 3 times a day.

I lost 11 lbs in the 21 days and have lost another 4 since beginning phase 3. The last week of the 21 days I lost only 1 lb. Before I start the next round. Is it normal for some people to stop losing half way in? I really felt like I did load properly but I did question myself on the plan. I stuck faithfully to the 500 calories but I sometimes mixed the veggies. It says only one. Does that mean you cannot mix lettuce/tomato etc?

Mixing the veggies would not have made you plateau during the last week. The most common this sodium intake or spices that have sugar in them or starches in them. Make sure that you are getting enough rest and drink plenty of fluids.

It seems like toward the end of my phase 2 I am just losing 0.2-0.3 lbs a day. It adds up to a pound in 3-4 days or so, so since the scale is actually moving down, it’s not technically a stall, right?
Correct. Your body is beginning to show signs of resistance. Keep going. Increase your water intake, increase your drops if you like to 15 drops, 3 times a day and see if that helps. Before beginning your next round, you need to give your body at least 4 weeks to rest before beginning drops again. You will need to load again as well. Be sure to follow P3 exactly. Slowly integrate healthy fats and complex carbs. Stay away from starches and sugars until the end.

Can I drink a dieter’s tea when I hit a plateau?
Yes, that is fine.

Question about stalls, I did an apple day, lost 3 lbs, then gained 1 lb, lost it, now have stalled for 4 more days. I am on day 38, do you recommend another apple day or a steak day?

Drink as much water as you can, it you have not been about the break it, you can increase your drops to 15 drops 3 times a day as well.

My first week was great, loss of 11.5, but the next week was only 2.5 and so far this week I’ve only lost 1 lb. I have not cheated, I have stayed on course. Please tell me what else I can do? I did the apple day yesterday and only lost the1 lb.

It’s important to look at your weight loss collectively. 14 pounds in 14 days is great! Try not to be so hard on your self. There could be several variables to look at. Check your water intake; you should be drinking half your weight in ounces. Check you seasonings to make sure that they do not contain any sugars or high amounts of sodium. Look at what you are eating. Beef for example is harder for most people digest versus fish or chicken. Look at portions and total daily calories. If you are not eating the full 500 calories, your body will not lose as much. As you get closer to your optimum weight, the pounds will become a little more stubborn. You should be checking your inches as well. Although you may not be losing the pounds as much as you would like, you should also be paying as much attention to the inches that you are losing. Many people continue to lose inches even during a plateau. Don't be discouraged. Keep up the good work. What other program would help you lose 14 lbs in 14 days!

I‘ve taken the HCG drops faithfully three times a day and following the diet exact. It is nearing my 21 days and have been doing great with losing pounds. Except now for about 4-5 days just recently I can't seem to lose much. Just today, I actually gained half a pound. I did an apple day, so why is this happening?

You can increase the drops to 15 drops 3 times a day and increase water consumption. Some question: Are you getting 8 hours of sleep per night? Are you close to your menstrual cycle? Do you have any history of thyroid issues? Are you exercising? Have you checked your spices and seasoning to be sure that you are not getting starch or sugars unbeknownst to you?

I been on the diet for 34 days now but for the last week I been at a standstill. I go up 2 pounds then back down. I did the apple day and still nothing. What can I do to start losing more weight?
We are sorry to hear that you have stalled. If you have tried everything, but cannot break through this plateau, you may consider going off of the drops and start phase 3 and then do another round after this one. Some people's bodies react differently and when they are losing weight like this, their body tries to put the brakes on and is trying to hold onto everything that it can. If you allow your body to stabilize and see that it is not "starving", you can begin again and your body will react he same way it did when you first began the diet. Sometimes we just need to have it kick started again.

Started load days and then started the diet as directed. I have remained under the 500 calories, I drink water all day long and total weight lost in the last weeks was 3 lbs. The scale has stayed the same in the last 3 days. Is this normal?

This is not typical at all. Do you have any underlying health issues?

Today is my first day with no loss. I know I took my morning drops late yesterday and probably was short 20 oz or so or water. Does that make that much difference? I am on day 11 including the load period. When should I do an apple day?

Most people wait until their 3rd day before beginning an apple day. Increase your water intake. You can also take some psyllium husk if you have not had a bowel movement for a few days. Please look at your seasonings to make sure that you are not getting any sugar or starches that you are not aware of.

I really need help. I'm on Phase 3 and now have gained 2 lbs back. I don't know why as I have not eaten any carbs, starches, or sugar. What should I do?

Be sure that you followed the 500 calorie diet for 3 days after your last drops. As you incorporate more foods back into your diet, be sure that you are increasing your exercise regiment and watch your calorie count. Be sure that you are fueling your body with high quality foods. Your body is trying to hold onto everything and you need to be sure that you are getting plenty of fiber and drinking plenty of water. You can also do a steak day as you have reached 2 lbs gained in P3.
A Steak Day is where you abstain from all food during the day and eat one large steak for your evening meal. The steak should be cooked in oil or butter and should be eaten with one apple or a raw tomato. This allows the hypothalamus to be corrected and function properly again

I am yo-yoing with my weight loss after 23 days. One day I lose a few ounces and the next day I gain a little. I am over 60. I lost the most in the first week. I follow the guide line exactly and don’t eat more than 500 calories a day and lots of water. Any suggestions?
We have found that the older you get, the slower the weight loss is. You can try and increase your drops to 15 drops 3 times a day. Be sure to drink plenty of water.

I’m on phase 2, day 7 and only down 4lbs. I’m drinking a lot of much water, following diet, watching salt intake, no oils, lotions etc., also increased drop amounts. Why am I not losing more?

You are averaging over 0.5 lb per day. For most women, they average 15-23 lbs on the 21 day diet. There many variables that effect your weight loss. Stay on it, do not get frustrated. Allow the diet to take its natural course. High emotions affect your body and can cause you to hold onto everything. I would tell you to relax and stay steady. You are only 1 week into the diet. Keep it going and let it run its course.

It is day 5 of Phase 2 and I have lost just more than one pound. I was expecting more loss especially since I am following the diet protocol. Do you have any suggestions?

Continue to drink lots of water and focus on the lighter proteins like chicken or fish. Stay away from beef because it is harder to digest. In you do not see significant progress over the next day or so, increase your drops to 15 drops (.52 ml) 3 times a day.

I have only lost 8 pounds in 15 days so is that because of my age (over 60) or is this normal?

Yes, age does play a part since your metabolism has slowed on its own due to the years. If you need to increase your drops to 15 drops 3 times a day. After you do the hcg diet, you may want to consider HGH Complete which is another subligual supplement that will help balance your body fat to muscle ratio, it helps promote healing, builds lean muscle mass, continues to burn excess fat (not as fast as HCG) and increases bone density. It helps stimulate your own production of HGH in your body and helps restore that youthful feel.

Since I figured out that I was taking too many drops and cut back to the correct dose of 10 drops I have gone 3 days with no loss and even gained 1/2 lb. I am sticking to the diet. I may have been under the 500 calories a little but nothing else. Do you know what is going on?

Some people need to increase their dosage to 15 drops 3 times a day (or .50ml 3 times a day). Since you have already been at a higher dosage, your body may need to stay at the higher dosage to work effectively.

I have been using the drops for 8 days. I am still pretty hungry between drops and meals. What should I do different?
You can increase your drop to 15 drops 3 times a day. Increase your water intake and if you still need something more, you can take pysillium husk 30 minutes before meals. It is a fiber that will help you feel fuller, but it will also make you have bowel movements more as well.
